DAZ 4.5 riggings query

Thus far I managed to export a genesis figure to Blender as an .obj file, modify it, then import it back into DAZ 4.5 as an .obj file. Now... how do I go about rigging it? Mostly pointing me to the right menus, functions et al will do me more good than sending me to a video tutorial.
The figure was posed in Genesis, then exported, modified and returned changed. Will I be able to rig it in the posed position or should I do it all over in the standard (normal) position. I'm just experimenting at this point, so to do it over is no great heartache.

What are you trying to do? If you want a new shape the usual approach, as long as you've been careful only to shape the mesh and have done nothing to add to or remove geometry, would be to load as a new morph for Genesis using Morph Loader Pro (Edit>Figure menu, make sure you use the same preset as when exporting the OBJ and for a first go accept the default settings for the morph - though if it was posed you will want to set reverse Deformations to yes, with Genesis still posed as when you exported).
If the object of this experiment is to create a morph, then there's no need to rig it...but it should be done in the default T-pose. MorphLoader would be how to handle the import. It takes the obj file and creates the needed morph dials for it. A couple of things, though...you can't add/delete any vertices and you need to use the 'keep vertex order' on import/export.
If it is to learn DS rigging...then you still should work from the T-pose, as that's the easier way to go about it...especially if you aren't creating a skeleton from scratch. I suppose, you could reinvent the wheel and start from scratch...
A figure modeled from Genesis and rerigged wouldn't be distributable, while the results of the Morphloader import would be. A complete rerig would also require extensive work with the weight mapping to get the figure to bend correctly.
There's several other areas to think about, but the ones above should give a starting point.
Is Morph Loader part of the DAZ 4.5 package or an add-on to purchase?
Part of DS 4.5 Pro...which is what the free version is, so yes, it's part of it...as long as you've entered your serial number in DS.
It's found under Edit > Object (or Figure) > Morph Loader Pro.
I'll check it out...
Okay... I found it. Now. Is there a written tutorial on how to use it (and the rest of those functions as well)?
