Computer not hooked to internet DS4.5 crashes 9 outta 10 times...:(

Yup have my main working machine unhooked from internet and when I try and run DS4.5 it crashes...
Anyone else havin this problem...?
Dont want to reinstall because of the development of ParticleFXDS4.5 and Bryce7ProContent bundle 2....

Try turning off the update check
Edit > Preferences > Check for Update > Never...

Now just to get that one time DS will load...

Nope that didnt work...On XP if I right click on DS icon and run as...I can get DS to open...But and I mean BUTT...It doesnt load Genesis and or my default setup...I open a saved Genesis scene and genesis loads as a Boxed person and all geometry is screwed up....
This isnt cool...Does anyone use DS on a Laptop and not in a wifi or connected to the internet...?
Sounds like it's not finding the Data files. Where is your content installed?

Very odd -- shouldn't make a difference if you're networked or not as long as the content is local. Can you post the last 20 lines or so from the log?
Yup first thing in the morning(rendering)...I am playing with my Genesis Devil right now in Zbrush...Thank goodness I can still work on the saved OBJ files I have...
I really cant say what is wrong, but after reading your problem, i unplugged the internet from my pc and clicked on 4.5 daz and verything i have in my content is loading up.... still, daz studio is just a 3d studio, u really dont need internet for u to run ur daz....
Well finally figured out what was happening...
The 2 new Hair Plugins were the last plugins to load and it was LAMH or Garabaldi that crashed DS4.5...I deleted the Plugins and hey whoa and behold DS4.5 loads up now...
Garabaldi I betatested and didnt buy but I bought LAMH so I am thinking the timed out Beta version of Garabaldi caused the Problem....
Ironically I have just re-installed/registered LAMH on a new computer. Process went as sweet as a nut. Sadly, loading a preset/project now locks up and then crashes DS :(

Oh thats not cool...
I havent loaded up LAMH yet and was waiting until tomorrow to give it a try....I will see tomorrow...Been waiting on my Paypal payment from DAZ so I can purchase Garabaldi...
An immediate crash usually a problem with the graphics card.
