Humble thank you... :)
I wanted to thank those who have prodded the perturbated old doctor into doing more with the videos. I really played with RealPlayer and found it makes downloading videos an easier task and a faster process. While doing so I managed to get an idea for what DAZ can do. I'll likely get Hex, but might wait on Bryce, at least till I'm up and running with the other two. As for Hex, I saw there's a .pdf manual! :)Just out of reach... Why can't we just download it? :ohh:
With all the new hacker problems on the net, it sure makes more sense to have it on the HD, than to be forced to stay online so much. Even if it needs a good bit of editing, to be able to view it on one machine while working in the other would be a blessing.
Just the same, even if the manual consideration becomes the deal breaker for Hex, I greatly appreciate all the help and guidance you folks have given me.
I should also invite you all to join
http://jootbox.forumchitchat.com/
That is my own forum and is oriented toward learning, similar to here, but also provides for socializing and I'm tough on spam and cyberbullying. Discussions range from the arts and sciences to survival, politics, religion and programming. You can also compare my predictions using ephemeral data and Hook's Law to predict solar flares against what Spaceweather actually logged as happening those days and keep up on both my and others predictions for the changing weather patterns and quakes. (I was 95% accurate in my CME predictions last year). A person can be mentally ill and stay on as long as they follow the simple rules, that are basically "play nice." If the mods here like, I'd be more than happy to place a link to DAZ. Fact is, I've found better Blender help here than at the Blender forums, so... do the math.
Thanx again.
(This isn't a so long thread, just a show of appreciation and reciprocating...)
