I am looking a model of a harley davidson flhr 110th for a project someone has asked me to do. I have only found one but its in Sketch Up format or Collada. I have tried importing the collada version into Daz Studio and then into Hexagaon as I need to do some additional model work for add ons but in Hex and Studio I can actually see the model (its there but cant see it) Is there a trick to working with collada models?

Does anyone knoew of a Poser or Studio or Vue 11 friendly model of one of these bikes (or a similar model that can be converted - I am not a bad modeler in Hex if I sayt so myself so am willing to attempt that) I dont know American bikes being a Brtish bike lover myself so am not sure what could pass as a flhr 110th

There are several obj exporters for SketchUp...you may want to try one of those.

You could download the pro version of Sketchup. (don't buy it, just the trial one) It doesn't have to be the latest version. I use version 7 for almost a year now. It gives you a couple of hours unlimited use. It comes with an .obj exporter. Just import the .skp model, look if there are undesired items like a groundplane or promotional text, delete those, then export it as '3d model' Don't tick the boxes 'export two sided faces' and 'export edges'. That's all there is to it.
