Smart content refuses to show anything

Smart content is refusing to show any content which means I cannot do any connect installs which I would like to do as it is easier to find what I need via connect instead of trying to find it via DIM or the product library.

Are you getting an error about needing a PostgreSQL connection when you launch DS? Has it ever worked on this machine?
I got it to work for a bit last night. Not really as it showed nothing is installed. Not at home right now and the computer is left at home due to battery issues and the fact the mall's food court only has one outlet.
On computer right now. I told DS to shut down CMS and turn it back on. Now seeing if I can log in to see if it will work.

Latest error but right now I need to turn off computer and TV and go to bed. I can try to figure this out tomorrow.
So, is PostgreSQL installed?
DIM says it is.

What is the file name of the cms? I can try to see if I can find it in task manager
postgresql, it will run only when DS or DIM are running.
Okay does windows 7 come with a firewall? If so could that be the issue?
Yes, Windows 7 has a firewall - it is turned on, if nothing else is isntalled, in the recent updates but I can't recall if that was always the case.
Where is that file found?
Right-click on its entry in Task Manager and select Open File Location.
