Standard place to put Mat presets and global Turn off limits?

I've got a custom Material Preset (.duf) and associated image textures that I'd like to post to ShareCG. Right now they're in custom folders but I'd like to know where the DAZ "standard" install locations are (if any). Kinda confused because my Mac 4.5 content library doesn't have a Mat Preset category.

Also is there a way to turn off Limits globally (a'la Poser)? or even for a whole figure? I can only seem to turn Limits off part by part...

Thanks in advance!
Dan

Limits are in the Parameters pane option menu - right-click the tab, or click the menu button in the top corner. That's a per figure setting. You can also go to Edit>Preferences>Content Library and tell DS to turn limits off when a pose or shape needs it, but that can be confusing as there's no indication (other than windmilling joints) whether limits are on or off for a figure.

As for materials, if they are for an item they usually go in a sub-folder of the items folder, if they are generic then the Shader Presets folder; textures go in Runtime\Textures.

Tip: If your Item was not created with the Texture (if Any) in the Runtime>Textures>Item Name Folder and loaded from that folder when the Preset was saved it will not work properly for others. The path in the Mat Preset File will point to the folder the texture was loaded from at Save time. If it was in a folder on your PC and not in the Runtime>Texture>Whatever Folder when saved that path will be called at load. The user would need that Path on their PC for it to load.
