DAZ 4.9 stopped working on my computer. So I uninstalled the program and went to DAZ to re-download and re-install.  IT WILL NOT REINSTALL! I have tried five times now, I have enven rebooted the computer. I cannot get DAZ to install on my computer, not with Daz Install Manager, not manually.

Any suggestions?

    ...do you have an AV utility that recently was updated which might be blocking it?

    I have hosed my Windows permissions once such that the only thing I could do was clean install Windows. I think that's what you might need to do.

    At the very least you should delete:

    /Program Files/DAZ 3D

    /Program Files (x86)/DAZ 3D

    /Users/<Your Windows User ID>/AppData/Roaming/DAZ 3D

    and reboot and try to install DAZ again & you will probably be able to avoid a new install of Windows.

    running Ccleaner and its registry cleaner before reinstalling is often a good idea.

    ( always do the back up registry option)
