I bought the 3d model fly agaric mushroom from quixel megascans which is a collection of mushrooms at different stages of growth .Ive used quixel megascans both in Daz studio and vue before, but these come as a big group, that need to be seperated Now in vue they are easy to seperate as you can just click on the model name and the + sign and it shows all the seperate ones which can then be saved one at a time .if i load them in to DAZ studio I can not see a way to seperate them any ideas ? In Daz studio they show as one object and all though they are easy to save as seperate ones in vue , vue can not save them in a format that DAZ studio can use.

It's a bit fiddly, though it sounds as if there are groups so that should reduce the effort.
Switch to the Geometry Editor tool (Tools menu) and make sure you have the Tool Settings pane open and the complete imported OBJ selected.
In the Tool Settings pane you should see a list of Face Groups - I think this will be the same as the list you see in Vue. Click the + next to name to select all of its polygons, then right-click in the viewport and select Geometry Visibility>Hide Unselected, then right-click again and select Geometry Editing>Delete Hidden. File>Save as>Support Asset>Figure Prop Asset.
Repeat for each element.
Thanks for that i discovered that i can also down load the files as FBX and they are seperated like that and seem to work just as well
