Hi there, I'm a new user and I'm trying to figure out how to make it so the character looks like they are taking of their clothes - for example unbuttoning a shirt or lift up a t shirt oetc.
Here an example:

Some clothes come with morphs to do this sort of thing but not many. You could probably re-create the example in your post using dynamic clothes but there only a limited number of dynamic clothes available for Daz Studio.
If the clothes don't have the morphs you need you could try getting lifting effects using D-Formers but I don't know any way to unbutton a buttoned up shirt apart from exporting it to a modelling package and modifying the mesh.
As Peter says, for things like unbuttoning the clothing needs this as a specific morph and geometry design. For lifting or dropping, you can try a utility such as Fit Control, or else manually transfer morphs from an article of clothing that has the movement you want. You can find these in the various marketplaces, and on the free sites like ShareCG. This sometimes yields useful results. Having some experience with modeling tools like Blender or Hexagon can be useful here.
