HDRi Calls

I've made a bunch of HDRi's and want to call them from a .duf file and thumbnail in the Content Library with the actual HDRi's in the Textures folders. For the life of me I can figure out how to accomplish that. LOL!! I know it's doable as I have products that use the method described.
Would some kind sole educate me as to the method and process?

You want to create a Render Settings Preset. First manually load the HDRI that you want to use into the Environment image map in the Render Settings pane. Adjust the environment and tone mapping settings so the HDRI looks good in the Iray preview, Aux Viewport, or a render. You can then use the File menu to choose to save a Render Settings Preset. Look carefully at the available settings to be saved and check only the ones that you want to save. For example, you probably don't want to save the render dimensions in your preset. I usually save only the tone mapping and environment.
