Problem updating Daz Install Manager

Daz Install Manager gave me a message saying I needed to update before I could download/install anything.  I went through the update it errored, so I decided to redownload the entire thing off Daz's page and I am getting the same error.  "error copying file from packed archive" Now installer will not work at all.  Any ideas?

 

 Edit: Apparently I can't uninstall Daz Install Manager now either...  Could really use some help here...

 

Edit #2:  Created a slight work around for the update by making a new destination for the Install manager by simply adding a 2 at the end.  *shrugs*  It worked..  I dunno

    What security software are you running? A few people have reported similar issues.

    McAfee mainly.  Windows Defender running in the background, but it's never been an issue before.  Thing got worse after the Install Manager problem though.  I updated Daz 4.9 like it said, now it's gone and the update won't install.   It starts to update, then just shuts down.

    Yes, McAfee has been the software in use by a fair proportion of those having issues (but not all). Try making sure you download the files, disconnect, disable McAfee, and install
