Morphing into Different Figure?

I've looked all about the net and forums for this with no luck at all. Is there some way to morph a figure (say Genesis) into another, independent figure (say something like SubDragon)? Perhaps using Zbrush, Maya, or Poser? I thought at first D-Form was a way to do this, but I was never able to find a tutorial on how to do such a thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

    You basically re-shape the mesh, and when you're finished, add it as a morph and adjust the rig so it fits your morph, and lock it so that when you turn that morph on, the rig adjusts. And yes, ZBrush, for those that know how to use it, would be a good tool for that.

    And no, Poser would NOT be a good tool for that. Maya might be a good tool for it, but my understanding is that ZBrush is better.

    Going from Genesis to the SubDragon wouldn't really work - you can't add useful body parts with a morph, it can only rearrange what's there already.

    Did you mean to say "can't add useful body parts"?

    Yeah, I'm sure SubDragon is probably not going to happen, I just meant that as an example. I have other figures that could possibly work as well.

    I've made custom morphs in Zbrush before. So I start with sending a base Genesis figure to Zbrush, but from there, do I import the other figure, or do you mean manually reshaping the mesh to a replica of the other figure?

    You can morph Genesis to your hearts content in ZBrush. There is already a figure called Anubis, and a Gorilla, both based on Genesis, so it is possible.

    The one thing that you CANNOT do with a morph, is to add or remove vertices. You must simply move the vertices around until you get your desired shape. When you bring your shape back into DAZ Studio, it will be used as a Morph Target, and using the original Genesis as a reference, DS will be able to create a morph using your mesh as a Morph Target.

    Okay, so that's the closest I can get. I meant morphing Genesis into an independent figure, such as the Mil Horse, of which there isn't a morph for Genesis, (to my knowledge).

    The DAZ Horse 2 says the following on the Product Page;

    . Leveraging DAZ 3D's award-winning Genesis technology while maintaining native compatibility with both Poser and DAZ Studio, the DAZ Horse 2 includes a new, more detailed mesh and hand-painted weight maps providing dramatically improved bending and posing

    It says Genesis technology, but it uses a different mesh from what i read. If it was possible to do it from the Base Genesis mesh, I think DAZ would have done it.
