"Your Shopping Cart is Empty" error message (Cured/sort-of-solved)

This has happened once or twice before: I inadvertently add items to my shopping cart before logging in. After I've logged in, the item count shows up in the top right-hand corner, but I get the error message and can't buy the stuff. I can't even re-add the items since they're already in my cart...except I can't get at them! Logging out and back in again doesn't cure the problem.

It's extremely frustrating--especially with Flash Sale items--and I'm sure others have experienced the same problem. If someone could tell me how to cure it, I'd be duly grateful.

[ edit/update: Waiting 20 minutes or so did the trick. Still, it's a weird and annoying glitch that I've never experienced anywhere else. ]

Add a new item and you will then be able to see both in your cart and remove the new one leaving the original.

Aha! Didn't think of that...although it shouldn't even be necessary.
