Can I use my DS content and files on multiple computers?

I want to keep working on my models during my visit with folks 3,000 miles away, on my dad's computer over there.

Is there a way to do this?

I use Wndows 7-64. But his computer may be Windows 10.

You can install Studio and content on as many computers that YOU own, since it is your dad's than no you cannot.  If you are not going to try rendering Studio can run quite well on a low end ($600ish price range) gaming laptop

I have my DAZ content installed on a removable drive. Only I use it. However, I do have to install the free DAZ Studio *program* on any computer I want to use the content on.

If you have reasonable internet connections at both ends, how about using remote desktop to access your own computer from your dad's? Then you won't have to copy any content anywhere.

I've used Google Remote Desktop to access my Daz set-up from my phone. I can't do much manipulation of scenes that way, but I can set up all the camera angles in advance, then remote in to run a series of long-running renders while I'm out of town or at work.

Thanks to all of you! Ya. Maybe I can just take an external hard drive copy of my internal hard drive from my own computer and connect that to my dad's cumputer, and work that way. But I might also try that Google Remote Desktop thing.

So now I'm just wondering how much headache it would be to "synch" the two hard drives together when I get back. I've never done this sort of thing before.

Seems like an un-enforcable restriction to me. Who's to say that I don't actually own my dad's computer? Let's say he paid for it, but gave it to me as a gift, and I just let him use it. These familial divisions of ownership are pretty blurry. And hey, I'll be removing DS when my visit is over.

I suspect it is attitudes like that that made DAZ create the horrible Connect 'feature' in Studio.

Damn. People talk of $600 computers as if that's low end hardware that nobody running Studio is likely to be using. Oi. The best computer I have cost around $200 (of my step dad's money) and has no 3rd party video card. Just 8GB of RAM. And that's what I run Studio on. I can't build scenes of very much complexity without bogging down to a cawl just navigating the scene. I'm hoping this same dad of mine might upgrade my hardware if I show him some of my renders.

Its very simple. You can install Daz on any computer you want , its free software. Back up your "My library"  folder or wherever you keep your content,on an extenal HD , its always a wise move anyway to back up your content library regularly in case of hardware failier, I have 2 backups. So anyway just take your backed up content HD  with you and when you have installed daz on your dads computer in the daz settings add the external library to the my library locations and you should be able to load any scenes you have made with no problem. As long as you dont give the backup to your dad and its only you using the paid for content I doubt you are breaking any rules. BTW I run daz quite happily and do  iray renders (about 2 to 3 hours for a 4k render) on a 2nd hand Dell precision i7 laptop I got on Ebay for £160. I did add ram to make it 16gb but you dont need a massive buget for daz, just a little more patience maybe.
