I Want to Make Shoes for G3 and G8 - Please Help

I've been waiting two years for someone to make really nice looking, classic, sexy shoes for G3, and have only a few pair to show for my patience.  I've come to realize that I'm going to have to start making my own, and share them with the community.  The only problem is, I know absolutely nothing about creating content.  I'm looking for objective-based learning resources on how to make footwear for G3 and G8.  Would some kindly direct me, please?

    the other day this tutorial was released maybe on creating boots but the princibles should be the same

    I wanted to get that tutorial just to see if there was anything I had missed when creating my own shoes, but then I took a closer look at the screenshots and the boots... and decided against it. Also, they state it concentrates mostly on the modeling. The rigging is by far the most difficult part. Having said that, considering the lack of resources out there on this topic, I'm sure the basics are covered.
