Can't see new message in my message box

I don't know what other forum I could put this in. I was notified by email, could see the message there, when I attempted to answer at my DAZ3D Message box, there was nothing there. Baffled. Frustrating not being able to answer a question.

    Normally the email contains the message and the user name of the sender, if that's the case you should be able to reply in a new message using the sender's user name.

    Don't confuse the Messages link in your account with the Inbox link in the gear drop down menu in the forum. If you received an email about a private message, that will be in your Inbox in the forum.

    Click on the gear icon on the blue line up there ↑→  top right, and the click on "Inbox" in the drop down list

    Was the message dated August 20th?  If so, it may have been from me as I wrote you Sunday.

    Of course, you may receive tons of messages.  In that case, it could be anyone.

    Thanks everybody, I confused the Messages link in my account with the Inbox link in the gear drop down menu. Found it.
