No Genesis 8 Male Starter Essentials for Michael 8

I just bought Michael 8 and can't way to use him, but I didn't get the Genesis 8 Male Starter Essentials and Genesis 8 Male PowerPose Templates. All I got was Michael 8. I know he won't work without the starter essentials, so how do I get them. My sister bught him and got all those thing with him in her Install Manager. I tried closing Install Manager and reopening it in case they just hadn't come in yet, but that didn't work. I don't find them in my Product Library, either. How do I get them?

Use the Filter on the download manager. Filter for "Genesis 8". I had to do that, for some reason it wasn't near the top of my list even though it was sorted by date. Once I applied the filter I could see the items no problems.

I can find Genesis 8 Starter Essentials, what I'm missing is an update for it via connect.
You should already have the Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials. G8M has a seperate Geneseis 8 MALE Starter Essentials package that you should be able to download and install from the Install Manager.

I don't use the DIM for things that will be in connect. Easier to keep track of updates.
According to connect/smart content tab (And BEFORE anyone says anything, updates is pretty much *All* I use the Smart Content tab for), Each of the previous ones are listed as just "Genesis # Starter essentials" One package for each generation. This is how it has been since Genesis 2 (Genesis 1 was only one figure) I've been with Daz through all of this.
The Genesis 8 Starter essentials (not Genesis 8 Female starter essentials, just Genesis 8 Starter Essentials) is not listed as having updates yet, ergo I don't have G8 male who would be *included in the Genesis Starter Essentials* Like Genesis 3 Male is in the Genesis 3 Starter Essentialls. And Genesis 2 Male is in the Genesis 2 Starter Essentials.
Yup, you are correct in that they are both in the Genesis Starter Essentials within Studio. But they were available as seperate packages through DIM. I don't use connect, so not sure how or why it's not updating for you.
Edit: I downloaded and installed both the Female and Male essentials packages through DIM. When I view the Genesis 8 Starter Essentials in Studio there is a button telling me to "Update". No updates showing up in DIM for it though.
I was able to download both Genesis 8 Female Starter Essentials and Genesis 8 Male Starter Essentials @ 0830 CDT in the US.

Genesis 8 Starter Essentials isn't a single package. There are 4 Female and 4 Male packages (starter essentials, powerpose templates, other templates etc). Check you Porduct Library on Daz3D.
I *Know* that it's multiple packages on DIM and the Product Library. It is *NOT* multiple entries on the Smart Content Product Tab. I am posting in case there is anyone else who uses the Smart Content Tab who also has not gotten an update to the Genesis 8 Starter Essentialls, since I would rather *not* contact Tech support, who tends to Not Read What I've Written when I submit help tickets.
True now, but DAZ will probably combine them into a single package in the future, just as they have with G2 and G3.
The update for G8F is probably just the G8M Autofit clone.

The Genesis 8 Male Starter Essentials do not show in Daz Connect for me. I installed Michael 8 Pro Bundle through Daz Connect. But he errors when I try to load him.
I had to search my product library to find the Essentials packages. There were 4 but two of them were templates, so I didn't install them? Do I need to? In any case, I installed the two packages through DIM, but I still get the same errors and M8 won't load.
I sent support a ticket.
Try installing from the Update Tab of Smart Content and install the Genesis 8 Starter Essentials update... that ought to now contain the Genesis 8 Base Male.
Not yet showing up there for me... still... I've restarted Daz several times (and hit refresh several times)
It's certinly in the Manual downloads.
I had an update to Genesis 8 Starter Essentials just now. Remember that double-clicking will open the current version, to install the update you need to right-click and select Install Update.
