uneven glossiness

hi, i just recently started using daz3d and it's amazing so far but i have a minor problem with my renders.
i tried to make my character sweaty but it turned out like this.

    I think you have the wrong specular maps applied to the legs.

    I tried playing around with some values but that didn't seem to do the trick.

    Good call jestmart!

    It looks like the arms spec map is being used on the legs. Even if you haven't modified anything, errors do sometimes happen. If you check the spec map for the legs, I'm pretty sure you'll see that it is using the arms map (you can see the fingers outline on the left leg in the last post).

    For proof of jestmart's theory, here is V7 with the arms specular map placed in the "Glossy Layered Weight" channel, and the "Topcoat Weight" channel (to match what the OP is showing, I did have to invert the images using image editor in DS because the background in the texture maps was white, if it was black, this wouldn't be needed).

    Looks very similar to me surprise

  • Yes, thank you! I don't know how I got the arm spec map over the whole body, but now it's fixed, thank you very much once again!
