Hi Folks,

I have a question re the above noted product at another site? Have any of the Poser 9 users here who have the DSON Importer loaded on their computer used it? Or attempted to use it? I've gotten feedback that it works in the 2012 version but I don't want to commit to a buy - and an onerous return process - if it won't work in Poser 9.

Any feedback anyone has to offer on this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I can't speak as a Poser 9 user, because I have Poser Pro 2012. However, it works great in Poser Pro 2012, and it definitely should work in Poser 9 as well. Or what I mean is, there is no technical reason for it not to work in Poser 9. If you run into a problem, it's should either effect everyone or be something specific to your system, and not just a Poser 9 problem.

Thanks, I'm going to take the plunge and buy it.

Poser 9 is 32 bit so you may run into a known issue of the Poser library locking up. If this occurs, it usually occurs when you use the apply active morph script.

In the DSON prefs, make sure you uncheck the show progress box.

If you run into library lock, use an external library app is a work around. Semidieu over at RDNA has an excellent external library app. Dimension 3D also has an excellent external library app available both at Rendo and CP.

DSON also requires the SR3.1 for Poser 9.

I've seen that happening with Genesis and I've actually been using Semidieu's external library application. I do need to uncheck the show progress box though. Thanks for the tip and the reply.
