How to combine several props/prims, into 1 prop or figure?

OK - my issue is this,

Lets victoria is in a bodysuit, shes wearing it. I want to use the smooth modifier to create some bulges under the suit that are part of her body.

So, I use the adjustment morphs on the suit to get it as close to her body shape as I can, so that I dont have to use the modifier on this, then make invisible all parts of the body covered by the suit.

So she wearing the suit, its about the right body shape and theres no poke through because all limbs are invisible etc.

Now, instead, I want to use the modifier so the suit goes over the bumps and bulges of the prims, which are also parented to veious parts of her.

How can I have 3 prims, made into 1 item so I can select it as the item in the modifier?

all I can do at the moment is make her wear 3 bodysuits and make invisible the ares I dont need.

any idea's?

does that even make sense? finding it hard to explain :/

    Here's what i'm getting.

You want the body suit to conform to/cover props parented to the character.
But you want them to be treated as one figure.
I don't think that is possible.

Could you post a picture of what you currently have, and maybe i or somebody more experienced could answer/figure it out better.

Yeah, unfortunate this is an aggravating part about the whole program. In a previous video, the only way I could get the character to drop his pants, was to bring in TWO pants but not autofit to the figure. But make the two as one around the figure, one in front and one in back, parented to a null. Then work the null to make his pants drop. I think is how I am going have to approach for someone to take off a Tshirt, using the D-former to create the illusion of him pulling the shirt up and over.

Tex, i think you have a bit different problem.

That seems more like the item was not really designed(like most clothes) to do what you want it to do.

Most clothing is designed to be put on, the character posed(within certain limits) and that's it.

    Anything more is beyond it.

You might actually want to try rerigging(new obj, transfer bones, add bones, change weight mapping, etc etc) the item to do what you're looking for, the results might be iffy, as the mesh may break, and require a lot of work.

easier options are to either make your own in another program, or to purchase/download something that does what you are looking for natively.
