Free item adds 67 cents to the bill

Another interesting example of Daz mathematics today. Adding one of the free items from today's sale increased the cart total by 67 cents although the item was shown as free in the cart. I didn't bother to add up the individual prices to see what was going on. I don't think it's enough to make an issue of, I'm getting plenty of discounts on this order, but it does show that it's a good idea to keep a close eye on your cart to make sure there aren't any serious problems.

The free items have been known to break other sale discounts, that may be what you're running into
Were you applying a coupon? The trouble is that some of the coupon gets applied to the free item, before the iem is made free, so you lose that - you can either go through with the sale and then open a support ticket, or you can try splitting the order into two so you can both use the coupon and get the freebie (if possible).
That makes sense, thank you for that explanation. I was using my PC club Daz Originals coupon. I've already bought the stuff, I'll put in a ticket and see what they say.
I always buy free items seperately now as I've had multiple times the unenviable task of filing for refunds after discounts break and being charged hundreds of dollars for a $25 or less shopping cart.
Unfortunately that is not always a viable option. Sometimes the item yoy want to apply the coupon to is reguired to get the free tiem.
I don't consider those items free but I know what you mean. I guess since I buy the PC+ most of the items I get free really aren't either.
