Using Gen2 female Clothes on Gen 8 female Problem

Hi I was wondering if anyone has a quick fix for the problem I have been having. I don't know if this has been asked before.  With the Gen 8 female cloned to a Gen 2 female body the clothes for Gen 2 female go on perfectly, But when I pose the Gen 8 female the clothing becomes warped and disfigured.Usually around the head, neck and chest areas. I am sure I am doing something wrong and any help would be great. Thank You.

  • Which version of Daz Studio - Help>About Daz Studio?

  • Thank you for the response....   4.9.4.122 Pro Edition (64-Bit)

  • That's the curent version. Is this all clothes? What settings did you use in the AutoFit dialogue?

  • Generally, the further the item is from the skin or the more rigid it is meant to be the worse the conversion will be. I would not expect great results for a backpack, and the helmet on that set is also pretty distant from the ehad (and smooth, which is goign to show the adjustments very plainly). I don't have that set, but I think you may be better off parenting both otems rathr than trying to get them to fit - if, as appears to be the case, there is a strap for the backpack you could AutoFit for that, hiding everything but the strap, and then parent an unmodified version, hiding the strap.

  • Thank you Richard ,I just parented the helmet to the figures chest. It works pretty good. Thank you once again for the advice.

If you parent to the head, then later on if you make minute adjustments to the neck the helmit will follow.
