DAZ, Thank You for Studio

I started my 3D art hobby with DAZ Studio in 2006, am currently reading the user manual for V3Digitimes' Iray Light Manager Pro, and just wanted to thank you for maintaining a wonderfully intuitive app.  Mind you, it has its quirks - I recently learned how to use the unncessarily cumbersome D-former, and finally have a rudimentary undersatnding of it - but for the most part, it's a terrific achievement in software design for hobbyists like me.

P.S. - Please bring back the Carrara UI style.  I've tried to duplicate its color pallette using Google Image examples of Carrara's interface, but it just doesn't look the same without drop shadows separating UI elements, and I really miss that style.

  • I agree. Daz Studio is a wonderful tool and they have done a great job with it. Is it perfect? No. But what software (or anything, for that matter) is?

That is the single most thing I am thankful for, Daz Studio and I have to thank the old DAZ3D crew for that. For the new regime I am thankful for the continued expansion of DS and for it being free. THANK YOU

Yeah, I am very thankful they've made Daz Studio free and continue to update it and keep it free. I wouldn't have tried it otherwise, which is funny because I've spent quite a bit of money on Daz products since. lol Very smart of them to make the program free and hook in people like me! heheh I love it and though I've only been doing 3D content for about a year and a half now I'm thankful every day for Daz studio and the endless hours of fun and creativity it's given me!

I also would like to say thanks.  If it was not for being able to get Studio for free , I would never have been able to enjoy this wonderfully creative hobby.  Thank you DAZ3D.

I am thankful, that DAZ continiousley develop figure technology to the better. Also Iray has become essential. What was the other app again? Sorry couldn't resist. ;)
  • I started becoming interested in 3D art in 2011 and DAZ Studio was the easiest for me to get comfortable using. I bought Poser, tried it several times and gave up. I have also attempted using Blender, and gave up. But today DAZ is still my render software of choice. Keep improving it and making it greater! Thanks!! smiley

Yes, thank you for this latest version. I am happy to note it does NOT play havoc with my finicky Windows 7 machine, nor does it send me into fits of despair trying to round up all of my stray content and keep it where it belongs. For the first time in ages I'm actually happy with Studio enough to start using it again. The more tools I have in my kit the merrier, so good job, Daz! yes

I agree, Thank you DAZ for making such an excellent piece of software that is free but not limited, it's powerfulk as hell, you make my dreams came true: digitalize my game characters !

For that .. It's not enough of thanks I can gave to you, but I try to give you one million of thanks :)

Thanks also from me. I have been into 3D for awhile before discovering DAZ doing development and mods for games. While screenshots from games was the norm for imagery, rendering was never on my radar till I discovered poser.

I am just glad DS finally 'clicked" with me after trying it many times over the length of 2+ years and the inclusion of IRAY totally raised the bar and it's all I use now.! yes

    Haha you and me both!

I do love this program and I too would not have found this wonderful world of 3d if it had not been free.
