delete rotation tool?

in New Users

can I remove the arrows used for posing?  I never use them. I prefer to use use Power Pose or the Parameters settings. I find they are in the way when working on a small area, IE a finger or an eye.

    If you aren't using the viewport gizmo to pose just switch to a different node seelction tool - the Node Selection tool itself, for example. If you also don't use the viewport for seelction you could even switch to a non-node tool, such as Spot Render.

    I'm with Richard on this one. I always have my viewport set to spot render, both because I often do spot renders to verify settings, but also because it leaves the viewport "cleaner" by eliminating the Axes icon and also the yellow highlighting of nodes whenever the mouse passes over a figure. If I need to use a tool in the viewport, it is only a matter of toggling, then back again.

    The highlighting can be removed in the Draw Settings pane, set Node Highlighting to Bounding Box Only.
