The pain of buying just before a sale

So recently I had to buy some items on the Daz store, and a day later they are on sale. Would have saved about 20% on a $40 order but it still hurts. Whats the biggest one you've suffered or do you always wait for a sale?

Yeah, customer support is pretty good with this, so contact them, and they will most likely credit you the difference. I've had this happen a few times, and it always had a happy ending. :)

I paid full intro price on one of the new generation models only to have it given away free 2 months later.

yes thats has happen to me a couple of times before. but the sales dept has always been very good at refunding the off set price.  I may complain a lot about the quirky stuff that happens here but one thing about daz business, they do have a great return policy & customer service. I never had a issue getting a price match on content i have purchased and went on sale a few days later.  so if that ever happens I just put a ticket in requesting a refund.

My experience is I buy something on sale, blowing my monthy budget, then a few days later someting I wanted more goes on sale.  DOH!  I wish I knew what's going on sale when, so I can plan my purchases better.

I tend to not think too much about that sort of thing. Happens to me in the brick and mortar stores allllll the time, and since I'm used to having no recourse there, I don't usually fret overmuch about it here. Hehe. I look at it like this: it was something I wanted and I bought it and got it. That was my goal. C'est la vie! :)

I have bought so much, about 1500 in 2 years that I couldn't honestly say if I've had that happen to me or not. I certainly haven't noticed it, mostly because I don't buy much (compared to the volume of products that's released that is), and when I do it's usually while it's a new item or a PC+ item or an item I use a coupon on.

I bought DAZ Studio 3.0 Advanced on a sale for something like $100 about 31 days before they made it free.
