Is there a way to put Genesis 3 male textures on Genesis 8?

    Do you mean in DAZ Studio? They should load by just clicking on the material presets (just like you would for a G3 figure) as long as they are using the G3M Base Male UV set - M7/Lee7/etc don't quite fit - but most PA add-on characters used the Base. The presets won't show up in Smart Content unless you deselect the context box at the bottom - I go in through Content Library then pick People - Genesis 3 Male - Characters and find the materials presets from there.

    I was having major problems with the textures but I have done a reformat of Netbook to see if that will help.  I am trying to reinstall the stuff now.

    Hmm. Which render engine are you using (3Delight or Iray) and have you loaded the matching material setting?

    3Delight as I cannot use iRay.  I thought I did use 3Delight files.

    Maybe you have run into the AoA Subsurface Shader problem? Is the skin using that shader? There's a long-standing problem where it gets "lost" every so often. Restarting DAZ Studio should fix it, or loading a different skin then the one you want may work. There's another fix wher you clear out a library somewhere, but I can't remember exactly what - I'lll try and track down the forum thread.
