Crash making a shader preset: Ideas?
Hello, I am having the following problem with saving a shader preset: perhaps someone can help me.
Perform the following.
Open Daz, delete the defaulf fogure, and create a primitive sphere.
Select the Sphere and open Surfaces
Select the Default Surface in the surfaces hierarchy
Make a change to the surface (I changed diffuse color).
Keeping the default selected, perform a save as Shader Preset...
Keep all aspects selected, navigate to a directory (I had built my own directory in the content Shader presets directory)
Hit Save
Daz starts the saving process and then crashes.
I tried this multiple times with different surface definitions, using shader mixer, loading a shader first, etc etc.
I am using Daz studio 4.5.1.56 on a 24 GB 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro running 10.6.8
Any ideas?

What video card? Does it crate anything on disc before it crashes?
