why,.. and how to get rid of it

I get this message each time i open daz studio.

I've never used daz connect,. only DIM ,. so why do i get this error message,. and how do i get rid of it without going anywhere near daz connect.

Have you at least log in daz connect once?    I think, even though you do not use daz connect contents, you need log in daz connect once to authenticate.

(check user I think) ,   it may only up-date meta-data, but not auto install contents.

(after log in once, (then log out)   when you hope to up-date meta-data as newest one, you may only need  log in daz connect, then log out if you do not like.(I do so)

I sometimes see, this problem when install  beta version, but after 4.8 I seldom see this bug. when this problem start? have you keep up-date daz studio constntly?

Did you change any hardware on the computer ? it looks like the licenese detection think you have changed something on the computer that is used to calculate the "identity" (network card for example).

thanks fo the suggestions,.

I rarely use Studio,. so i think i'll just uninstall it rather than logging into some server to confirm i don't want that "Connect" service.

No recent changes in hardware either,. thats why it's surprisingly strange.

i've been ignoring it since it first appeared a few months ago,. just thought there may be a simple ,.." oh yeah, you click this option ",. type of answer.

You don't have to ever log in to Connect. I think someone did find out how to fix this, but I don't have a link to the thread handy.

if I recall, it occurs if you have the stable and beta versions on your hdd and you have one, then the other go online and then go back to the other one.
