Accidentally reinstalled V4.2 with DIM and now none of the morphs work...

OK, so DIM wanted me to install some stuff that I had already installed. I organize my library so I can find stuff in poser without moving around folder after folder, so I install it all to a special directory, rearrange and then zip up and extract into the destination.

Well, I to make DIM not write the files wherever they were originally installed, I uninstall and then reinstall (all within DIM). Well, the way it works is that it pauses for a second and then accepts your click...after it rearranges stuff and it thought I clicked uninstall V4...

So, now none of the V4 injections work. They were all working so nicely...until now.

Any idea what I can do? I don't think elite or anything but aiko and stephanie are even being extracted.

I think I was able to recover the !DAZ folder from Time Machine backup, and everything seems to be good. After looking around inside there, I'm guessing that DIM does more than extract files. It must be calling those scripts that they used to fill your desktop up with and when I installed Aiko and Steph 4 to the temporary folder, the V4 injection stuff wasn't being updated (I guess. I delete the cr2 since I have modified ones that I am using and those were the ones that I was unable to get to inject properly)

So, don't forget to use your backups. They are great! :)

I take it that you have DIM installing to the same location? You need to have only ONE "Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ:Victoria 4" folder with all the V4 morphs in it. Make sure you only have one (and that it's listed as a Poser-format content folder), and rerun "Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ:DzCreateExPFiles-V4.bat" (.command on a Mac).

Well, I have one runtime, but DIM doesn't know where that is. It installs into a temporary directory so I can clean up the stuff inside Library/ and organize it in a way that makes sense to me. So, I think the problem was that I installed V4 into the temp directory (after accidentally uninstalling her). Then, after all of my morphs stopped working, I tried to install the rest into that blank directory, but they couldn't work their magic on something inside the !DAZ directory, since V4 had been moved, so it was just messed up.

After installing into the temp directory, merge the Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ folder into your real runtime (depending on which version of OSX you may need a utility to do so), then execute the DzCreateExPFiles-V4.COMMAND file to initialize the full set of morphs.
