Updating DS has caused major stability problems for me. With the new version, my IRAY renders crash 75% of the time or better. I went back to the previous version and almost never crash. Is the new version too much for my computer? Do I need more memory to use the new verison? I can use Gen 8 female figures but not male using my current version and I'd like to stay current and use both

The new version is more unstable for me too, I don't know why... It sometimes crashes with the message "DAZStudio.exe caused ACCESS_VIOLATION in module "C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4\libs\iray\libiray.dll" at 0033:000000000661A672, mi_plugin_factory()+1506146 byte(s)"
I have 32 GB of ram so I don't think that is the issue.
It is, I think (and depending on which version you had before) an updated build of Iray. Checking your drivers are up to date is an obvious frst step.
