    No. If what you're wanting to do is make it not-installed-by-connect any more, you'll have to uninstall it then re-install either using DIM or manually. Don't forget, Connect installations use the content database, and simply juggling content files won't do anything about database entries that will now be looking at files that aren't in the expected place any more. You must do the uninstall/reinstall to update the content database properly.

    You could however, do custom categories if you want a way to organize your stuff without moving the actual files.  Super easy to do but can be time consuming depending on how much stuff you actually have lol.  There are some examples of that on my art studio thread and you can find the start of that particular discussion on categories here.  It starts about halfway down and is a couple pages.

  • As long as the new location is in a content directory it should be fine (it didn't work in the earlier betas, as I recall, because I did move mine and had to "reinstall", but the database uses relative paths so moving from one mapped directory to anothe should be fine).
