DAZ Studio becoming unresponsive
Since the latest update of DAZ Studio 4.9 pro (4.9.4.122 64bit) I am again and again having problems with the GUI becoming unresponsive. Windows shows me its "I am busy"-cursor. And each time this happens I cann see that one of my 32 processor threads (Dual Xeon, 16 cores, 32 threads) goes to 100%. If this happens it will not get better, if the busy cursor goes away it immediately reappears if I click something in the UI.
I never had this behavior before and I believe this is a bug in the latest version, probably only appearing with my system configuration.
Any ideas what to do about this?
Is it possible to go back a version?

Thanks in advance for any insights.

Just to rule something out that was happening to a few of us: Do you have AM's Iray Catalyzer plugin installed? And if so, have you updated it to the latest patch?
Yes, I have iRay Catalyzer installed. No update was shown in Install Manager until a few minutes ago. I'll install that.
yeah - AM submitted the updates quickly but Daz takes a little while. 1.3 is the latest patch (if that's not the one you've got, see this thread:
https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/188806/released-lamh2iray-catalyzer-1-3-update-available-commercial
to get the manual download for the patch).
The good news is that since 1.2 the lag hasn't happened (at least for me) :)
But would that not only happen if I actually use that plugin (or LAMH iRay presets) in my scenes? Which I did not.
(just checked the installed version, it is 1.3.0.0)
Not in this case. It appeared to be some kind of general issue, Hence folks asking you if it was installed.
