Anime character experiment in DS: Yoko Littner

I thought I'd attempt to re-create an existing anime character using customized "off-the-shelf" assets in Daz Studio.And while it's certainly far from perfect, I was pretty satisfied with the (intial) results.

This is Yoko Littner from the Anime Gurren Lagann. The base is A4 with some various body morphs & tweeks. The hair & clothing are cobbled together from various sources - several of which are products made for other base figures (V3, Genesis, etc). None of the original textures (that came w/ the product) were used. All were either afrom "aftermarket" texture product or custom (from-scratch) or a combinatiuon. If anyone is interested I can probably give the rundown on everything I used & how I modded it.

    I also did an "animation" which just spins her around so you can see the full character. And, yes, I know that when you see her from all angles she seems to be awkwardly leaning back. I didn't think it was excessive enough to warrant going back & re-rendering (even though it only took ~25min). And, of course, there are some other minor details that become obvious with the animation; but, as I said in the original post, this was sort of an experiment. I'll probably correct them eventually.

     Texture: AoA's Subsurface Toon Shaders (Skin Pale, Quality 5 Very High), Eyes were converted from Aiko 3.0 Eyes using TC2, Eyebrows used same texture as Hair (see below) w/ eyebrow Trans Map from 3DC's Belle

    Manually resized & relocated, then parented to A4 head
     Morphs: BangsLLeft 50%, BangsRRight 100%
     Texture: AoA' s Subsurface Gummy & Plastic Shaders (Gummy Red, Quality 5 Very High, Scale Small, Sugar Off),  no Trans Maps were used except the orignal SkullCap one

    Manually resized & relocated
     Texture: DLD's Latex Shaders (01 Lemon Peel)

    Inception8's Just Rings Cutey Skulls (CSRing06)

     Texture: heavily modified shader from JGreenlees's Jeans and Tees Shaders using a Texture Map manually created in Paint

     Texture: Supersuit Leather Shader* using a Texture Map manually created in Gimp

    SLEEVE/STOCKINGS
    V4 Bodysuit

     Texture: Opacity Strength set to 0% for most material zones leaving only elbow & leg areas visible; sleeve uses Genesis Supersuit shaders (Leather-Black), stocking are simple base shader w/ manual adjustment using various shades of pink/mauve (no Texture Map)

    BRACELETS
    Helen (Hands figure)

     Texture: only HlnHands_Brac material zone visible, simple manual texture (black BG w/ 4 yellow discs) & manual Displacement Map (gradient grayscale discs)

    GLOVES
    ArtemisX

    Converted for V4/A4 using CrossDresser
     Texture: only LowerHand & UpperHand material zone visible, Genesis Supersuit shaders (Leather-Black)

    BELT
    B25 Club Dress

     Texture: clip material zone set to 0% opacity, manually created Texture Map & Displacement Map, both maps use same gfx for studs (gradient "diamonds"), Buckle is a primitive plane re-sized &relocated and textured w/ Hardcore Utility Shaders (Metal Shiny: Shiny Steel-M)

    BOTTOM
    V4 Basicwear Boy Shorts

     Texture: Hardcore Utility Shaders (Latex & Glows: 1Black)

    BOOTS
    Sinful Knights

     Texture: Supersuit Leather Shader* using a Texture Map manually created in Gimp


    *a trick I use often w/ leather surfaces is to start w/ Leather-Black shader for the Genesis Supersuit. I then swap out the Texture Map w/ whatever one I want to use, change the Diffuse Color to White & adjust the UV Tiling as necessary
