I wish either the tenth doctor or the eleventh doctor would choose me as a companion and take me on cool adventures.

I'd like Captain Jack Harkness to pick me up and take me on adventures. ;-)
(That wasn't off topic was it?)

*sings* New Who tomorrow. New Who tomorrow. *stops singing*

Aldemps-fantastic pictures. All of them. Thanks for all the inspirations.

I have it recorded, but I am afraid Stepfather will delete it before I have a chance to watch it. I am not sure if there is a way to watch it on my kindle after the episode airs or something.

hey all, I just started watching Dr Who, been watching seasons 5 and 6 with Matt Smith as the doctor.

I'm looking for morphs of the doctor/Amy/Rory/Riversong, and clothes for the doctor, and any props that would go with, such as but not limited to: sonic screwdriver, tardis, dalek, etc :)

I resisted until now because i just KNEW I'd get hooked... then I watched a one min preview and it was doom.... haha.

    "resistance is futile"
I will have to go back later and watch the older ones. :)

    Thanks for help guys!!!

I'm loving all the randers, everyone :) I've only seen the 'new' Dr Who (the one that started with Christopher Ecclestone) and not the originals, but I love the series. Whenever I get my pc finally ordered and made up I can finally start Daz work again - and I hope to try some Dr Who stuff :D

    Just messing about.
Found a Penguin in my Runtimes, so I thought I would try a render featuring Frobisher.
Frobisher was an alien shape changing private detective (it was the 80's) :-) who travelled with Colin Baker's Doctor in the Dr Who Monthly comic strips. He got sick & ended up stuck as a penguin.

Great pic :-) but it makes me feel old because I actually remember Frobisher. :gulp:

Amazon video has some of the old Who episodes for free for prime members. I saw four episodes of the first Doctor and one episode of the second doctor. I wish they had the whole series.

If Netflix had them all I would try to start getting that. I think

Its a free prop for M4 from Renderosity - just do a search for famous hats in freestuff.
It's a set of 10 hats from movies by StudioArtVartanian.
    I used the Rocky hat.

    Just messing about.
I have been reading some collections of the old TV21 Gerry Anderson comic strips from the 60's.
I love how they have created a shared universe where Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Stingray etc all exist at the same time.
It's a shame that the Dalekscomic strip didn't crossover with this universe, I would have liked to see Spectrum or S.H.A.D.O. fight them.

I was told a scene where a couple went to a graveyard for genealogy research. They found a gravestone with their names on it.

I was thinking that angels could be the cause why their names are on the gravestone. Just have to figure out how they know about the angels and how they decide to run from them.

Being at the office right now, I don't have access to the sites where the announcements were made, but with the stories that start airing in 2013, Character Options will switch from 5.5 inch tall figures it has released since 2006 to the smaller 3.75 inch type figures (Star Wars scale). Alistar Dewar (in charge of the DW line at Character Options) has stated this will NOT affect the "classic era" collectors' line which is commissioned by UnderGround Toys and Forbidden Planet. So, should we get a Sarah Jane (a strong possibility) as she appeared in "The Android Invasion" (with swappable faceless robot head), she and future figures based upon the 1963-1989 series will continue to be made at a 1/13th scale.

However, when Character Options releases a facsimile of the Doctor's newest companion, Oswin, sometime next year, she will stand less than 4 inches.

"Classic era" fans wonder what will happen whenever Matt Smith "retires" and his successor takes center stage. Will Character Options provide a legal loophole to allow the release of a "special" 12th Doctor to match those from the "Eleven Doctors Collectors' Set"? I certainly hope so, but, obviously, I don't know.

Just a "heads up" for anyone collecting this line.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

Good, since I HATE three and three quarter inch scale figures.

Maybe I should try to find time to do a weeping angel render. We do need a weeping angel render.
