When I browse for lux in daz under path for luxrender, it only shows the powerpose folder, but if I go to the folder outside daz I can see the a lot og other files including the lux dll. Does anybody know why I can't see it in daz, frustrating not to be able to get lux to work.

Did Luxus load as a plugin?
-> Look in Menu, Help, About Plugins, look in the list for Luxus.dll
Yes it is on the list, and i can choose it in my render options, but can't select path
Does it give you a Folder Selector(Like a File Picker) like you are used to, or does it not pop anything up when you click on the Path To LuxRender Property?
Did you by chance install Luxrender, it's separate from Luxur, here is the link to download:
http://www.luxrender.net/
once it's installed you need to point to that folder(where ever you installed Luxrender).
Please note the link is not working at the moment if the page does not come up wait a while and try again, the Luxrender site is down momentarily.
Yes I do get a folder selection
The image shows that and my plugin folder, but nothing shows up in it???
If I go to the folder outside daz everything is there
Same thing when I install luxrender, can't see any folder content in daz, but its there when I browse the folder outside Daz
It seems that you are trying to load the path to the Luxus plugin. It is the path to Luxrender.exe you should enter.
I installed Luxrender to C:\Luxrender\LuxRender_64_OpenCL, and the path I entered in the Luxus plugin is shown below. You do NOT give the path to the DAZ Studio plugin folder, but the path to the Luxrender executable file wherever you installed that to.
Stil the same problem cant seefiles in daz
Just enter the 'path', you wont 'see' the executable file inside DAZ Studio.
In your case enter (or Browse) C:\Ny mappe\LuxRender, and the plugin will see luxrender.exe
I am running Vista and as Jimmy said above you will nott see Luxrender.exe when choosing the path...but trust me you don't need to see it as the plug-in will. Just select the main folder that houses the exe and you should be good to go.
