Animate Vertical Texture Tiling

I'm trying to animate a texture over time. It is the Genesis 2 Male(s) Wet Body Iray that I'm using for the effect: https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-male-s-wet-body-iray
I just can't seem to "key" the "Vertical Offset" in the Surfaces tab so that it will animate over time. The slider works just fine - the drops will flow down the characters face...but once adjusted, the Vertical Offset doesn't seem to be able to be keyed for animation.
What am I missing here? Any help is appreciated! Thank you.

You could try selecting the surface and then in the Shader Mixer pane use File>Import from Scene (the Shader Mixer File menu, not the main File menu). Then, assuming the shader loads correctly (I thould think that's likely, as lng as it wasn't using an older RSL shader) you should be able to use a Variable brick set to Frame Number (RSL, that is 3Delight) or an Animation Time (MDL, that is Iray) to drive the tiling.
Hi Richard. So it seems I'd need more than just the Variable brick set to "Time". I need the Vertical Offset to increment a total of -0.1 over the 180 frames of animation (or 6 secs of time). I add the Variable brick set to "Time" and it only has a single output (which is outputting the current time/step of the animation, correct?), but what tells the tile to move -0.1 (or any value) in 6 secs? I'm still missing a brick, am I not? Thank you.
EDIT: It is Iray, yes.
Variable is for 3Delight, you would (I think) need the Aniamtion Time brick for Iray - and then you'd do some basic maths on that to get the right values.
