Create Clothes (shoes) for Aiko 3?

I am looking everywhere that if there's a way to make cloth for Aiko 3 on Daz Studio 4.5. I thought Poser will make it, but when I tried to do a trial, it's asking for my credit card info, and I don't want that info, so it's off. So I thought if there's a way to make clothes for Aiko 3 (like a plugin for 3D model program) or if there's a tutorial on how to make it. Any idea how?

If you want to make clothes for Aiko 3 in DS you will need Figure Setup Tools (http://www.daz3d.com/figure-setup-tools) and latest possible version of DS 3 you can get (it won't work in DS4 or 4.5). DS4 only has rigging tools for Genesis model, and those aren't usable with older models.

Figure Setup Tools can rig clothes in DS so they can be used in DS 3 and higher or in Poser.

But before that you have to actually model your clothes in a modeler, such as Blender, Hexagon, Wings3D, or (if you have them) 3DMax/Maya/Cinema4D and others.
You make your model, you import it into DS3 and rig it from within DS.

Well I know I have to make it in blender, I just need to find out if there is a way to make it for Aiko 3. I looked at the tools u told me and I don't think it'll work because it won't work for Daz 4.5. I have Aiko 3 working in Daz 4.5 Pro, so is there like another way to do it?

DS 4.5 Pro has figure setup tools included with it.

Where? From what I know in DS 4 there are only Content Creator Tools (http://www.daz3d.com/content-creator-toolkit-cct) which is a different product and only makes Genesis-like rigging.

Isn't there a cr2 exporter? I admit I have no idea whether one could get anything workable out of it for A3. I thought it had the same functionality as the figure setup tools, but looks like you're right.

EDIT: You can do traditional joint parameters with it.

Doubled edited because I typed the wrong thing.

Model shoes, and assign groups (depending on the shoes lFoot, rFoot, lToe,rToe, lShin and rShin probably).
    Load A3 into DS
    Open the Figure Setup pane
Right-click on the tab, or click the menu button, to get the pane's option menu, and select Copy Selected figure.
Right click in the group list area and import your geometry - use the Poser preset if you used the default A3 OBJ as a guide, or the preset you used to export your guide figure if you exported it from DS
Drag the entry for the shoe OBJ into the Hieararchy list.
Delete unwanted bones by right-clicking - you won't need any of the upper body, but you will want the hip and the leg bones.
Remove the Aioko3 geometry from the bones that have it, by right-clicking.
Check the Modify selected Figure option at bottom-left
    Click Apply.
Now use the Joint Editor tool to adjust the falloff settings -don't touch the centre and endpoints though.

Pictures here, though it isn't a pair of shoes of for A3: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/18760/

The CCT includes all the old tools for setting up legacy content as well as the tools for TriAx content.

Thanks for the tip. but if i'm gonna make that shoes, does it have to be a 2-shoe object (w/same distance) to fit the figure and into the figure setup?

I wasn't aware of that, thank you for telling me.

The shoes need to line up with the zeroed Aiko3, whether you make a single figure for both shoes or a separate figure for each shoe is up to you.

I made conforming clothing for Aiko 3 with just Blender, DAZ Studio and a text editor. You can download my base rig. See http://fav.me/d60a1bk for details.
