In particular, the Sculptural UV map which 'evens' out the UV density across the entire figure. This is great for tiling stuff on it, but it's also nice in cutting down on the inevitable disjoints between face and neck, where the effective resolution per square inch (or whatever) shifts abruptly.
I'd love to have something similar in G3/G8; working on skins, I'm constantly getting frustrated by how fine details turn to mush right across the seam.

Do you have https://www.daz3d.com/iray-converter-for-genesis ? I dont have sculptural, so have no idea
I would love this as well and purchase it in an instant. I've also noticed the direction (or something) seems to change between torso and legs/arms. Playing with the number of tiles and offset seems to help but the seam is always visible.
Yeah. It really sunk in when I was playing with dragon and other animal textures. Daz Dragon 3 has two different UV setups: default and unified. The Unified UV for dragons is one UV for most of the body, head to tail (but not wings). Many other animals are also one-map bodies.
Now, when there is a natural shift in the look of the head to the rest of the body, having a separate map isn't so bad; you can have a highly detailed face/head, which is often desirable. A one-map body means that the face is going to have relatively less resolution than a two+ map body.
Buuuut... the face/head vs. body? That becomes a problem.
It's particularly noticeable if you render large closeups of bald people with decent Normal/bump maps; right along the top of the head, where the face meets the head? Ick.
Just wondering, have you had a look at this: https://www.daz3d.com/steel-tzar-hd-for-ivan-7
I only mention it because I ran across it during Val3dart's part of the sale today, and Steel Tzar has a custom UV setup. Given what it seems to be, maybe that would do what you need.
Well... maybe!
when I have the spare quarters, I'll have to see if it is appropriate.
