V4WM in DS?

Just a quick question, will Victoria 4 WM work in Daz Studio?
At the moment I have Daz Studio 4, Genesis and V4 but as most things created are still for V4, I wondered if V4WM would be a good choice and would work in DS4.

Not to my knowledge as the V4WM was created using Poser's weightmapping tools.
Import your normal Vickie. Go to edit >figure >rigging > convert figure to weight mapping and Viola, you have a weight mapped Vickie! I don't see a need to use the poser version in DS when you have a DS version.
While that will work, it will not give optimized falloff zones, etc. It will simply apply a generic weightmap based on the morph zones.
Bummer... Will continue to use the non WM'ed version then or see if Poser can export to obj (I'm mostly rendering from Octane these days)
Thanks for the answers ;)
