Recompiling PWSurface 2

Using DS 4.5.1.56 and rendering with PWSurface 2 applied I get this message:

3Delight message #45 (Severity 1): S2072: the shader 'C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/shaders/pwSurface2.sdl' uses a different interface version. Automatic conversion was successful. It should be recompiled for better performance.

Is this something I can fix or does Poseworks need to?

They will still work, 3Delight will re-compile them on the fly. You can re-compile them manually though as well, which saves a bit of time and removes that message. The re-compiling may not work on all shaders, but I didn't run into an issue when re-compiling pwSurface2 (or uber shaders for that matter).

coolness... I'll try and do it for the ones I used most... I just have this loathing of error messages... :)

and Poseworks no longer own these shaders barring one and for the life of me I can't remember which one. But I do know Daz3D owns pwSurface 2 now. :)

the only one DAZ does not own is pwSketch. It sure would be nice if someone took serious ownership of these shaders and brought them up to speed. They haven't seen an update since 3.whatever. I still prefer pwSurface, but US2 has too many features too ignore.
