Questions About Droid

I am considering "Droid" (http://www.daz3d.com/droid) for a project and i have a few questions about him.

- I noticed on certain parts of his body, he has full plates, and then on other areas, it looks like arm/shin guards. Is this by design or is the other half "turned off" to show these parts can be turned off?

- If this is by design, is turning the guard parts off an option?

Until i noticed those missing parts, I really liked this bot for the purpose.

On another note... there use to be a robot in the store that had a human looking face but robotic body. It came in blue, yellow, red, green (i think), with the arms and legs always blue (i think). He looked VERY similar to the robot from "I, ROBOT". I cant seem to find him in the store anymore. Does anyone know where this guy has gone?

Droid is a very simple figure what you see is what you get. All the body outer plating is one Mat Zone and the Bones of the figure are set up pretty much like the Gen 4 figures.

As for the other one you mentioned I can't help sorry. I have seen one on Rendo that looked similar to IRobot.
