    Just a heads-up, I used it in a "Dwarf-for-hire"-add in the Stupid-thread here: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/14094/P1290/#297849
The original, however, I uploaded to my Flickr-page here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/norse_graphics/8637962060/in/photostream, no text, bigger and with more detail.

Any suggestions for beards? I've tried various morphs of the Genesis Beard, and it's just too... bland and neat and tidy. I'm looking for something I could stick on a dwarf's chin and he'd* be proud of it — even if soup presents a distinct hazard.

    * For possibly variable values of "he"...

Your best bet might be Look At My Hair or Garibaldi; if they can put fur on an animal, I'm sure they can do beards. A long beard would be a good Genesis item, considering how many fantasy renders folks do. Wizards & dwarves just don't look right with shorter beards. And you never know when someone might want to do a render of the guys in ZZ Top. (Speaking of beards and ZZ Top, it's ironic that the drummer, the only member without a beard, is named...Frank Beard.)

<headdesk> Haven't done much with Look At My Hair yet. Time for another fiddle with it, then.

My favorite option was http://www.daz3d.com/unshaven-beard-for-genesis since it allowed for the long beards I was looking for. The short beard and the Genesis beard are good for the neat and tidy version but that doesn't say dwarf to me. You can also mix and match the beard morphs. I normally did the Garabaldi shaping with a little Walrus. You can even mix a little of the others in for some more variation.

Garibaldi and LAMH are my favorites for that sort of thing just because you don't need to worry much about whether the beard has the right facial morphs built in. You can adjust even to custom morphs easily because the hair grows straight from the skin.

Yep, they are good options from what I understand. I have only played round with Garabaldi in the demo state but it was fairly easy. But, the unshaven heard is also a good and quick alternative.
