Does Daz Horse 2 work with Poser?

I'm a little confused by the description. It seems it will work with Poser but do I need some special thing to convert it over to Poser like Genesis to Poser or can I just install it and use it?

    You will need to use the DSON to Poser exporter as the same with Genesis. Never used it myself though.

    SO you need Poser 9 or better, with SR3 installed.

    Yeah..thats the way I understand it..you need SR3 and the DSON to get it to work in Poser. Personally, I've not found it worth the trouble :( There's not that much extra available in the way of textures, poses, etc, etc yet for the DAZ Horse 2. I've found theres already a stack of stuff that's available for the good old Poser Mil Horse..so why go to the expense of another horse that, so far, isn't as versatile ? Plus, the mane/tail for DAZ horse doesn't seem any improvement over the Mil Horse.
    Sure..folks have said that the Daz horse will (possibly) become the base figure for many more quadraped animals..but it's been out for a while, and so far, apart from what was originally released..nothing has shown up since. Could this be a sign that there's relatively little interest in the figure..especially as far as Poser is concerned ?
