You know Daz is really getting bad,
I purchased 3D universe pirate cove complete less than 2 weeks ago for $45 and now its on sale for $38.97 WTF
Y'all do this crap to me all the time. . it maybe time to start rethinking on how and when i buy things here. like wait a month or 2 before i ever buy something from this site again i like because in a month I'll get it for cheaper than the release date price,
what a crock of $h&t policy on treating customers

If it's within 30 days you can get a refund/credit for the difference, or at least used to be able to.

Why should the DAZ3D online store be any different to any other store weather online or on the high street? I just don't get why you are upset. If I go to any shop that has something I bought last week on spacial a week later do you think many would give me a credit? No I didn't think so. Yes DAZ3D will give you a credit if original purchase was within 30 days. Surely we can't ask for much more than that..can we..without being unreasonable that is. :)

And before you start on me. this is my opinion and not that of DAZ3D as stated below in my sig. I really just don't get it. And no I haven't got a lot of disposable income and yes I have to watch what I buy, yes I try to by low but like you found out it is not always possible. Which reminds me not once have I ever asked for a credit when this has happened. I suppose that says more about me than DAZ3D. ;) Stupid or Understanding you decide?

I can't help but think some people would only be appreciative if they got all of the stuff they ever wanted every time they put their hand out. This will be my only post in this thread, because I really hate these sort of topics. I just get the impression that some buyers feel like Daz owes them instead of the other way around. As far as customer service goes, Daz really goes the extra mile. You'd never get the same level of service from Renderosity or similar sites, and certainly not done as professionally.

That reason alone is why I get slightly wound up when I see these sorts of posts and why I'm bowing out of this one before I say something I'll regret later.

bla bla bla when you buy some thing and a week later it go on sale cheaper , it don't make you upset?
and for your excuse other stores do it as well is BS
example I bought a spring coat at JCPennies 8 days later they had it on sale, they rebust me for the difference in cost.
At rendo a new release came out for 30% off then 9 days later they hada store wide sale and it was 60% off they also credited me the difference. as I said I am changing my spending here.

No offense Zark I see you post a lot of here but i haven't seen you post any renders lately with expensive new product. that went on sale 8 days later if you did you would call foul too They did this to me when I paid $499 for daz4 on a early adopter sale as well then gave the program away for free 38 days later.. did you?. if so then you must have a lot of money to throw away. which i don't

Okay... everyone kiss and make up :) Ivy, yes, you're upset, you'll get your refund, it's annoying... Szark, stop pretending to be wancow... he's the only one allowed to tick off the admins regularly... and does...

Speaking of which, It's long overdue for me to post something that gets me a reprimand... I'll have to come up with something...

LOL Nope it doesn't upset me and you may get refunds where you live but I can assure you it will not happen in the average UK store. Some might but very rare so for me it is not BS.

So Rendo has now cottoned on, good for them.

When and what I render is up to me and as I plainly said I have very little disposable income due to be disabled but I am not here to jusitfy myself to anyone.

I aloo paid good money (money I didn't really have) as an early adopter, did I moan and throw a tantrum, nope just put it down to expereince. :)

wancow LOL Na I have just had enough and had to speak out.

We have closed this thread as it was clearly becoming a simple argument. Ivy has requested a refund, which she should receive, so the rest of the discussion is rather beside the point even without the sharp points.
