Good refraction setting for water...

hey all... I'm making a water image just for SnGs...
Using a cube for the water refraction... any suggestions on what to use for a refraction setting, and any other things you can suggest? The cube is not the surface of the water, I made a special plane for that...
3Delight render...
I'll be putting the cube below the main surface, at least that's the idea...

Index of Refraction for water is sometimes listed as 1.33346 at 0º C, but I don't know if that's simply fresh water, or distilled. At 100º C it is 1.31766. Or take a look at the Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_properties_of_water_and_ice
I also would NOT advise using a separate surface from your refraction, especially if you have waves or ripples that would normally lens the light.
Index of Refraction for water is 1.3330 at 20 degrees C (or 68 degrees F).
I assume there's going to be something in the scene to refract?
