Hello,
In the user guide for making custom scenes to use in movie maker, it says that movie maker currently doesn't really work for indoor scene, but they are looking to have this in an upgrade.
I purchased movie maker a while ago, and was wondering if movie maker now supports indoor scenes? I have a number of scenes that have quite a few props and things in, and would be great for rendering if they can be used with movie maker.
Many thanks

Does Movie Maker now work in the newest version of DAZ Studio? Just recently it didn't.
nope
•Movie Maker will not work with versions of DAZ Studio prior to 3.0.1.144
•Movie Maker is not compatible with DAZ Studio 4.x or higher at this time.
and the way this product is made I doubt it will ever work with Interiors.
I thought they stopped developing Movie Maker a couple of years ago.
Can someone help. I just bought movie maker 2 and one of the scene packs.
But in my daz studio 3 all I see is the sample packs in movie maker tab
When I downloaded them, the folders were runtime/textures/Dreamlight/MovieMaker etc
so that is where I installed them, in my library/content/runtime etc
But in studio 3 when I look at content/then runtime folder all that shows up is
Geom, Library, and Support no textures file I ran a search several times
real pain in the but as I have about 50 gigs of files in my library
and still that texture file does not show and the new ones are not in my scenes to choose.
I don't have a clue where the sample ones are.
Any suggestions. I wrote Dreamlight support and posted in their forum but suspect it will take
awhile to get an answer as their forum is sooooo slow.

You shouldn't normally have a folder named "Content" under "My Library" -- "My Library" is the new default name for the content folder, "Content" is the old default name.
If you're actually seeing folders named Runtime, Geometries, Support, etc., inside DS then your content folders are definitely not in the right places.
The placement of my files is not the problem, as the sample files were in the same folder in textures as the new director 2 bundle I bought and installed. Thank you though for telling me I should not have a content folder. I moved them all to my Library, all 50 gigs ugh. But, I know by doing that it is going to cause problems with all the scenes and characters I have all ready created because of the location they were in and now are not. But I believe I found the problem so thought I would come back and share just in case someone else has the same problem and does not want to wait upto 48 hours or more for an answer.
What I noticed was in my programs Daz 3 for Movie Maker there is files in the resourse/Dreamlight/MovieMaker folder that are the xml files. All three show up for the sample files. In the instructions for making your own it says you have to make the xml file. Well I am not seeing the new ones in there so the program does not know where to go to find the new scenes. And when I downloaded all 6 or so packages there were no xml files for them that I could find. Being I downloaded them each separate and installed the folders myself I know they were not included. I also redownloaded one set and used the daz installer and still there was no xml file added. So I am thinking problem solved other than waiting for their customer support to get back to me so I can get the xml files as they look like a pain in the butt to recreate yourself, when you all ready paid for them. LOL
So that is that. Will come back when I get them and update this if what I believe is so, is so. Hugs Elsie
