Where does everybody post all of their 3D renders and art?

Strange/lazy/stupid/random question, I know....

I live at Deviantart and watch 2 very big groups that get flooded with deviations daily...but considering the amount of customers and purchases Daz must receive, I see very little output, especially of new content.

I check the forums here and I browse the Renderosity forums once in a blue moon (but I tend to assume most of those are Renderosity-bought, V4, Poser specific) and I just don't know where to look.

I want to see all of the new content being used! I get excited when cool stuff is released and I like seeing how people use products, especially before I consider purchasing them...

I think it's great when Vendor Creator Gods (like Stonemason) have competitions using their products so at least I get to see one particular thread full of one vendor's stuff, used in various ways and commercial threads usually have a smattering of people showing examples but...I feel like I'm missing something.

Is there some Daz Studio/Daz3d specific render goldmine out there that I'm not aware of?

...Or do people just buy all this content and hoard it? And never use it...because I'm guilty of that. :p

Anyway, sorry for the long rant! Thank you! >=D

Have you ever looked at the Art Studio Forum?

Of course, but I hate wading through forum threads...

Edit: Which I will do regardless but there's still not a lot of stuff going on there. :p

The most popular sites for gallaries seems to be Renderosity and Deviant Art

Mostly Renderosity. Recently I've begun posting images at PoserWorld's new community site: http://community.poserworld.com.

It is a crime that DAZ Studio has not got a gallery up and running.
These forums are functional. That is not praise in any way, shape or forum.
An equal crime is that the Art Studio Forum isn't even in the pull down menu.
I forget it is even there until one of the lovely mods remind me.

Actions. Words. What's important around here. Sales. Check. Money! Woo! *sigh*

Anyways, usually in the (commercial) posts there are at least a few examples of new products in action made by happy customers.
That's about as close as you are going to get I think.

    Happy post diving. :)

Although in the last few weeks I've been hit with some semi-minor RealLife™ issue that've kept me from doing much rendering, I usually do at least one pic a week for the Platinum Club Inspirations contest, using as many of that week's new PlatClub items as I can shoehorn in. I put 'em up in my dA gallery here, and submit them to whichever of my groups they'll fit in. I'm only in one DAZ-specific group, though.

We no longer have Galleries here at Daz3D. I hope they might return in the future. That would be nice.

FWIW, I only post my stuff to dA. That's also the only place I regularly look at other folks work, too...

There should be a more prominent link to it... or it should be promoted more often :)

I didn't realise that was an official Daz deviantart account - that's cool! Even though there's not much there.

I miss the Daz galleries. I liked being able to see the ultimate super awesome renders from people who knew what they were doing.

I obsessively check the commercial and commons forums. I lovelovelove WIP threads and yes, I like seeing the very few renders people post of certain products.

I still assumed that there was some hidden gallery out there that I was missing though. Oh well!!

I'm only in Dazaholics, Reality plug-in and 3D-i-vision over at Deviantart. I figured if I was in any other Daz/Poser groups, it was going to be all the same stuff anyway, considering most people spread themselves around.

Also, as aformentioned...it's quite possible people just buy, hoard and never use a lot of their products :p Like me.

I'm on at DA, and many of my regular customers now watch and communicate with me there, often giving me good ideas for products. I also watch the MEN, MEN etc. thread (you might be able to find or start another topic that interests you; people do that).

I also hope to see galleries here at DAZ again, and given how valuable they are promotionally, I'm sure they will eventually return. DAZ can't want people to go to another brokerage to look at art if they can keep them here instead, it's just common sense.

I didn't know they had a DA page, and looking at it the last blog entry was in 2010 and the last image uploaded was in October last year..

DeviantArt is where I upload all of my art, and I also participate in the contests at DreamSlayerArtworks.com.. and do a weekly Dystopian Tuesdays image for their galleries..

I've been out of work since my accident 16 months ago, so I haven't had the cash to make many purchases, but the prizes at DreamSlayerArtworks have been treating me well..

Oh, and I can't use much of the new content from here, since my computer is so old I'm stuck using D|S 2.3... nothing Genesis will work on my machine..

I keep my gallery at Renderosity, although that location was somewhat randomly chosen from known possible locations.

...for some of us there is intent in the items we buy, however, things like lack of time due to RL (e.g. job commuting etc), and constant advancements in the tech and software that cause our systems to become outdated and inadequate for the task tend to get in the way of our original plans.

Now that I am unemployed and have a lot of free time on my hands I have been able to complete my workstation build and install my apps & content. In the last couple weeks I have produced more than I have in almost an entire year.

Of course not having the budget anymore to freely purchase new content, a lot of what I have bought in the past but never got to use for teh reasons above will seeing much more use now.

I very recently started watching you because YAY! VENDOR! WIP's! Previews!! Awesome tech-y advice from Sickle!

Maybe there should be a thread for links to vendor galleries on Deviantart. I only know of a few...

Yeah, I was disappointed when I saw how lonely their page was...

    I'll have a look-see at that website!

Oh, I'm with you there too. I don't have an income at the moment and am at uni so I can only buy something every so often...if I absolutely beg my boyfriend. Luckily he used Daz studio too. O_o
