Surreality's Amalie

I am using Poser pro 2012 just downloaded and installed Amalie but I can't find any sign of her in my runtime, looked in pose and materials but she is not playing........ what am I doing wrong?? Never had any problems locating any of Surreality's stuff before :ohh:

    Did you unzip the file straight into your runtime? If so, look for a Content folder, the Runtime is hiding in there.

    I don't use the install manager thing, so all of my purchases from today were like this. I had to move the Runtime folder from the Content folder to where I wanted it.

    Yes I sort of thought that is how it would work but still no files

    How big was your zip file? Mine is 129 mb.

    Yes I am just about to download again to see if that was part of the problem but I can open the unzipped files in windows explorer they are just not showing up in my V4 runtime where my other surreality stuff lives quite happily I also do not want to use the manager thing... I presume I have to install both files or is it only the zip file unless I want to install the DS exe as well

    There was only one file in my account this morning when I downloaded, the zip. I see an .exe version there now, so download that one instead, it should send it to the right place.

    Next question.. did you already have Poser open when you installed the product? if so you should either restart Poser or use the little refresh symbol on your runtime to get the new files to show up.

    I usually start troubleshooting with the simplest stuff first, because that's the stuff that always seems to be the trouble for me.

    *edit to add* the path for the pose folder is Runtime>Libraries>Pose>V4>Amalie just in case it is there and hiding from you :)

    Sorted I think I had a dodgy download seems ok now wonder what the surprise might be ?? Thanks for your help

    You're welcome :) Wonky downloads happen sometimes, I'm glad you got it sorted!

    No clue what the surprise is, but knowing Dee, it's going to be awesome!
