how to get search to work???

I can not get the search tab to return any useful information. I enter V4 and all I get is a new icon in the content tree that says Search: V4???
I have selected both file and database in the drop down and get the same result.

    I assume you're trying to search the forum? I sometimes find I get a better response from Google. Just type in your search criteria plus 'DAZ 3D'. Hope that helps.

    Sorry I should have specified the DS4.5 search function.

    Is the Content Management Service running? If it is you should have folders under Products and Categories in the Content Library pane.

    Thank you for reminding me Richard Haseltine,
    For some reason my firewall had disabled CMS, its running now and search works again.
