setup error - dazstudio 4.5 cant install anymore

hello,

as my old 4.5 version had some GUI glitches i uninstalled it because there is that new DAZStudio_4.5.1.56 out.
so iam running windows xp 32 bit SP 3. if i now try to install this new version the setup is caneled at the DZ_CORE.dll and exit because of
some packing problems.
so i try to start the failed installation and DAZStudio.exe told me that dzCore.dll is not a windows file.so i killed all folders of that
new installed version and try to install a older version from december 2012. and the error happens now with that old setup too.
i killed all network & virus softwares but still nothing. the setup ius running till ca. 80% and end up at trying to install dzCore.dll.
Please anyone can handle a reg fix for cleaning Daz3d form my registry or anyone has a solution.

    Is there a dzcore.dll file anywhere on your system now? Have you tried a different installation destination?

    hello,

    no dzcore.dll anywhere, ok but i have installed dazstudio3.
    i try to install in different folders too.

    So DAZ4.5 does not install on my system anymore, never experience anything like this by any other software.

    Unfortunately if you've already checked that the files are not already present, and you've cleared your browser cache and made a fresh download, and you've tried temporarily suspending your anti-virus there's not much more to try.

    SO,

    i cleaned everything, searched for that dll, disabled virus, choose a differnet dir and still that smart popup comes up...

    Did you clear your browser cache or use a different browser to re-download the installer?

    yes iu reloaded the installer with different browsers.setup still broken @ DZCORE.DLL FILE. (WHY the heck clean browser CACHE , if the EXE download is corrupt - why is it running till 80% then?!?!)
    Why is the newest DAZ installer SETup not packed as zip file, as the previous versions?
    so it must be another problem (UNKNOWN...)
    i really sad because i ilke to work with DAZ.

    Hi,

    to find out if your setup file is defect you can use a checksum calculator (Here is a free one: http://ffulgore.free.fr/site/f-crc/us/)

    Did you get the same results:

    Very strange.
    I guess there's no need to ask, but just to be sure: Did you restart you PC between the different setups?

    Just in case, could you run a check of your harddisk?

    i was able to install and run DAZ4.5 now.
    I have now a clean windows install here.

    Long way to sucess.

    Two very useful utilities for Windows user. Revo Uninstall does a better job of finding all those stray folder and files a program may install and it has pretty good registry cleaner. CCleaner is primarily a registry cleaner but also has tool for cleaning up temp files and controlling start up processes.
